Purely behavioural for the part I applied for. There was a question that caught me a little off guard, 'what technology do you think poses a threat to equity research', but other than that was pretty standard. Got rejected due to too many applicants, but the interview lasted 15 minutes instead of 30.

The hiring process began with a resume drop application. Following the resume drop, was sent an email to rank my preferences by division within global capital markets. From there, was not guaranteed an interview. A few weeks later, someone who went to my university and who now works at RBC DCM reached out to me to schedule an interview. The interview was 30 minutes long and was just basic behavioral questions and why RBC/why this program. after the interview we were told we would find out about acceptances the week of november 3rd. I found out that i got the program on october 31.
