Associate, DCM FIG

Initially contacted by HR (via email) and scheduled an on-site interview for following week. (No initial phone interview/screening.) Was scheduled to meet with all members of the team: Analyst, V.P., M.D., Head of Fixed Income. Met with all except for the V.P.
1) M.D. -- Walk me through your resume / tell me about yourself. This was the core interview. ("Why here?" "Describe what you know about Dodd-Frank." "Why did you go to __x___ school?")
2) Analyst -- Unsure why this was scheduled. He was checked out and didn't really even want to converse, despite my efforts.
3) Head of F.I. -- Semi-obscure questions about current events from the past year, focusing on sovereign debt.

Note, the interview with the V.P. was cancelled/postponed because he was called away for something deal-related. I never ended up meeting with him, but I believe that would have been the technical portion of the "superday."
