IBD FT Analyst

Applied online using rbccm graduates portal. You have to upload CV, no cover letter but a series of questions instead - why RBC, why this division, what would you expect to do working in this division, how is your experience and background suitable. You then take a series of online tests (automatic) - SJT, verbal, numerical. A couple of days after completing the tests, I had an email stating I was 'under consideration' for a phone interview, and the day after that an invitation to phone interview appeared.

1 week after the phone interview, I had an email stating I had passed the phone interview and was 'under consideration' for an assessment centre. Then...I didn't hear news for over a month, then had an email telling me recruiting was finished. Weird way to operate, but i understand from friends who had the same happen this is simply how rbccm operates UK grad recruitment - passing one stage doesn't mean you progress to the next.
