IB Summer Analyst

I was referred to HR by my academic advisor, who also referred me to a student at my university who had received a FT offer after working in Public Finance in NY over the summer. The incoming Analyst also recommended me to a recruiter. Two days later, I was contacted by the recruiter, followed by a third-year Analyst who asked to interview me. It was a 30 min phone interview--pretty standard and consisted mostly of "fit" questions. My interviewer asked mostly about my story and why RBC, specific work experience, some of my interests--a lot more casual than I expected. He ended by telling me I would hear back within 2-3 days.

After not hearing back a week later, I emailed the recruiter to follow up, who then told me that they were sitll in the process of screening phone interviews but will get back to me shortly.
