Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Attended their information session on campus and received an email asking for my resume a couple of weeks later. Was later invited to a networking event with some of the bankers when they were in town. When their summer analyst position was posted on OCR I submitted an application and received a first round interview on campus. The interview was mostly gauging interest in investment banking and the energy industry. The interviewer threw in a couple of fairly simple technicals about WACC and valuation. I was selected for their super day later that week which consisted of dinner and drinks the night before and then 5+ hours in the office beginning the morning. The interviews were generally with one or two bankers ranging from analyst to VP. Most just covered the resume and interest in the group but a few probed me with questions about commodity markets or a variety of technicals. Far and away the longest final round process but seemed like a group with solid culture and decent deal flow. Did not ultimately receive an offer.
