Interview
I went through a phone screening and set up an in person interview for the following week. I interviewed in person at their Miami office with a small group of about four people. It lasted 45 minutes to an hour. I have no way to gauge how the interview went, so I'll say it was average or above average - I didn't seem to raise any immediate concerns.

Interview
First round with HR focused on career aspirations, why Rialto, etc. Two follow-up rounds with IM teams in Miami, which were more technical and included a modeling test over 1-2 hours. Everyone was friendly, though I got the impression that before the Associate level, you're working banking hours for under-market pay.

How does your full-time work differ from your summer internships? What are 2 skills you learned at each company that would allow you to add value at Fortress?

Interview
Overall, went through a few phone screens with Analysts / Associates then over Zoom with a few seniors as well. Process was straightforward as most questions were related to my outlook on real estate market trends and what I worked on in my internship.
Interview Questions
Nothing too unexpected in particular. Mostly around my projects (interned in real estate) and surrounded that. Few questions were related to what I think would happen in the market going forward.

Mainly behavioral consists of a long case study with model and PowerPoint, and a few group interviews

The case study was very long and tedious. Other than that, the questions asked are all behavioral (i.e., why the firm, why real estate)

Interview
Pretty standard process. Contacted about a week or so after applying for an initial phone screen then set up time to come in for in person interview. Didn't hear back for a while because hiring manager was out of town but ended up getting offer.
Interview Questions
Nothing really out of the ordinary, walked through resume asked about different ratios, valuation methods and pretty basic excel stuff. Not very technical at all especially since I didn't have and real estate experience coming in. The hardest thing that were asked were different type of personality and fit questions. I was prepared more for technical questions and was caught somewhat off guard by the personality questions so I kinda of stuttered to give a response. Just prepare for the basic ones and you will be fine.

Interview
It's a small company - the interview process was very simple. I met with five different people within the company who basically wanted to know one thing: can you work the hours? The business model was interesting and they don't pay high, so really what they want is someone who is hungry and has no expectation for money now.
Interview Questions
They pretty much just wanted to get to know you. This wasn't about tripping you up.

Interview
Recruiter reached out via LinkedIn. I spoke to them over the phone and went over my relevant credentials, expressed interest, and scheduled an in-person interview later that week. Interview consisted of 1-on-1s with a Director of the Acquisitions team and a VP of the same team. Both interviews were fairly casual and were mostly behavior/fit. Interviewers were laid back and friendly. Only technical questions revolved around general RE finance knowledge and discussing Excel expertise.
Interview Questions
Know the firm and the industry (in my case, NPL investments and distressed debt/assets) and express interest in a career in this space. Know why you want to begin a career in RE finance. Be prepared to discuss high levels of Excel expertise (modeling experience including macros, etc).
