They got back to me a month after applying, I did network with people in the office. Got a first round that was pretty much all technical (1-2 behavioral questions besides TMAY), they ask you to pick one of their portcos and walk through lbo and accounting questions using that company, really understand how franchising affects operations (costs, revenue streams, etc.) and what makes a good LBO candidate. I heard other people got hirevues but I did not.

What data would you ask for conducting due diligence on that investment?
Explain the valuation methodologies, pros and cons of each one, which one is the most valuable?

First, they sent out a hireview with a couple questions that you record. They asked about a few basic questions about how private equity works. Nothing was too complicated. They also wanted to make sure that you had researched the company and knew some of their assets. The next round was a zoom/teams interview with an associate where they got to know you and asked about their investments. They also wanted to ensure that you knew how to drive value in their business types. For example, they wanted to know how you would improve the EBITDA for a restaurant.
Interview Questions
Nothing too crazy. Maybe a few questions about what due dilligence you would need to make a decision on a potential investment.
