Please describe the interview / hiring process.
That was mid/late 2017. I applied online through Handshake and got an offer notice a few days later. Since I went to school in the Newport Beach area, I did not do a phone interview but directly went to the office for a panel interview. 3 people (my future two associates and my MD) and myself.
The associates are very nice --- which turned out to be true when i worked with them. MD, less so hehe.
Mostly fit questions, one test regarding some industry knowledge --- they sent you a paragraph before you went to the office and wanted to see how much time you have invested in researching the article.
The process really depends on what the MD thinks, as later I've had new interns who had 2 rounds of phone interviews before the office round.
Got the offer less than a week and took it.
