Summer Intern in the Investment Management Group

The first round involved an interview with a managing director in their office for an hour. Questions were completely behavioral and we talked about my interests. They called back 3 hours later to have me interview with two other managing directors the following week. The second round consisted of two interviews with two managing directors that were about 45 minutes each. These were very similar to the first one and simply had fit questions to determine compatibility. HR called me a week later to offer me the job.

The working environment is very open, similar to a trading floor. I really enjoyed talking to each one of the managing directors. They were very laid back and cracked a lot of jokes. The culture is great because promotes teamwork and cooperation. I can see why many people end up working at Russell for a long time.
