Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Initial contact at the firm was established through on-campus recruiting. Once contacts have been made, getting a phone interview seemed to be fairly commonplace and straightforward. Fairly standard and basic content in the phone interview (walk through the resume, why is this something that interests you, etc.). In-person interviews seem commonplace as well for the first round, but there were several rounds and consist of both group and one-on-one interviews. Content of the interviews is not challenging, however it is important to know anything you speak to well and be able to defend your positions, including your basic thoughts on things from your resume to investment ideas, etc. There seemed to be a bit of a "gotcha" culture, and interviewers aren't afraid to press. Fit also seemed to be a primary area where they tried to feel you out.
