Interview
Straight forward. Started with a basic HR meeting to discuss my previous position and why I am on the market for a new job. Went into so minor details about my previous responsibilities. I think they just check to make sure you're a good cultural fit and weed out those who might have a lot of fluff in their resume. I just recommend to know what you have on it and smile a lot ( have a quality conversation and ask about the job ). Then it was a technical interview with two senior engineers. They asked technical questions ( I.E. what is dependency injection, Unit testing, SQL window functions, offset, Restful API, etc) they look for partial credit on this too. Avoid beating around the bush if you don't know the answer just say you don't. They aren't looking for a story but technical descriptions. Last was a meeting with a asset manager. I wasnt sure what he was probing for but i was asked questions like "who were the two individuals that interviewed the other day" "which of them do you think was a better interviewer" "what is a quality about you that sets you apart" "describe what you task item flow was at your previous position" then it kind of went into a conversation about what they want in need and whether id be a good fit for that.

Interview
First round was a quick phone interview--more to see if you had a degree of competence. The rest of the interview process was a "super day" with three people from the company: fellow associate, the manager of the team, and department head. They were mostly behavioral and some basic finance related questions. One question was, "how would you invest $500k?" I was at the beginning of their process, so they had a number of applicants after me.
Interview Questions
Definitely the one on "How would you invest $500k?"

Interview Questions
The case was mostly related to system architecture and involved weighing the pros and cons of different solutions in order to deliver a project. Factors included, time, staff, cost and efficiency. Group project involved project management of a particular project using agile methodology. We had to weigh the importance of activities and decide on which were most important and in what order to carry them out. Finally we presented and were questioned on our thoughts of our performance and some of our choices.

1 on 1 interview was fairly boiler plate questions going through my CV and motivations. Very nice interviewers and people throughout the company, they give the impression that they genuinely care about your experience, fantastic culture.

Phone Interview
Interview
I was contacted letting me know that I was to interview over the phone the next day, not a lot of time to prepare. The phone interview was just basic competency questions: Describe a time you displayed innovation etc.
Interview Questions
What is the best quality you would bring to schroders?
Technology might not be the most glamorous role, why are you applying to it?
what do you want to be when you grow up? - this one is weird as there is no right answer, and your interviewer might want one thing whilst someone else higher up would like an answer differently.
If you could pick one place in the world to work, where would it be?
If i offered you any place in the company right now what would you take? CEO? trainee? regional manager?
