Siemens Venture Capital (SVC) is divided into (i) Siemens Venture Capital GmbH (non-U.S. based) and (ii) Siemens Financial Services, Inc. (U.S. based). Through SVC's portfolio companies, they offer our customers new technological solutions and tap into new markets. Their focus is on growth segments in the clean technology, industry, security, software and HealthCare Markets.

SVC's portfolio includes further Private Equity (PE) activities: In the context of their PE Advisory Service, they offer non-U.S. customers such as the professional consulting in PE asset allocation.

As of January 2009, Siemens Venture Capital launched its first fund-of-funds: Siemens Global Innovation Partners, which was offered also to non-Siemens/non-U.S. investors.

Notable investments include: Agility Communications (laser solutions), LanzaTech New Zealand (bio-ethanol), Myrio (IPTV solutions), Plastic Logic (plastic electronics) and Wirescan (real-time cable diagnostics).
