IB Summer Analyst

I initially made contact through a Managing Director and began the interview process with a phone screen with an Associate. The phone screen was to assess basic competence and to ascertain whether I had a very basic understanding and interest in investment banking, technology and markets in general. I was brought in for a superday the following week. Each interview focused on different topics including basic accounting and valuation, tech industry questions as well as several brain teasers. I received an offer roughly 1 week later.
