Investment Banking Intern

Overall, fantastic experience with SocGen. Interviewed on campus with MD of Energy group, had a long and fun conversation about our own lives and topics of interest, definitely no drilling of technical questions. He really liked the fact that I had visited the New York offices in December (through my school) and a good tip is to know a lot about the firm and what they offer, even if they aren't the typical GS, JPM, BAML BB that you usually might prepare for. These people appreciate genuine interest and a friendly attitude.

Second round was in New York at their beautiful Park Avenue offices. Two rounds of one-on-one interviews with MD and a VP in the sectors into which they are hiring interns (one of my interviewers on that day will actually be my boss this summer!) Interviewers were extremely pleasant and friendly, as well as HR. You'll enjoy this superday/interview process! :)
