Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I had the chance to visit SG's offices with the finance club of my school. I was able to network with M&A professionals and to pass my CV to HR. I wasn't called back directly, so I asked the people I met at the event HR's contact info. After sending an email, I got the interview the same week.
There are 3 one-on-one interviews, 2 with M&A associates, 1 with HR. There is also a math tests on paper and a M&A case study, which you have 30min to prepare and you then discuss with one of the associates.
