3 rounds of phone interviews. First one was mainly behavioral, mainly asking about past experiences. Asked to quickly run through a stock pitch. Second round consisted of behaviorals, a stock pitch, and a Q&A about the stock pitch. The third interview was the same as the second. Each round, you speak to a more senior member of the team. All the interviewers were very personable and easy to talk to. The recruiters communicated quickly, heard back <1 week after each round. They grill you on your stock pitch so make sure you have it well prepared.

First, there was a phone interview with HR asking for your preference and introducing the role. Then followed by two 1-hour Zoom technical interviews with their quant researchers. The final round was on-site, meeting with two members of the team and it was mostly technical and a little bit behavioral.

Interview
Had three video interviews to discuss portfolio strategy, risk, allocations, returns and data. First interview was more general overview of my strategy and the portfolio I run. Second interview was more focused on risk and metrics. Last interview was discussion of allocation and returns as well as data and research needs. There was talk of a programming interview to follow up but did not get that far.

The interviewer was receptive and perceptive. He asked many detailed questions about the strategies I am running and his knowledge of energy markets was definitely on point. Overall I think the interviews were "standard" for the hedge fund PM role and if you are a good trader with the right strategy and fit you will go far here.
