Interview
First-round interview was purely technical. First half on coding, second on probability. Probability was based on die rolling games, notably I was asked why the 'intuitive answer' was not true rather than just what the correct answer was, related to the Monty Hall problem. Coding question was about returning the order in which people leave a queue given a list of amounts people want to withdraw from an ATM with cap k, where if they cannot get out what they want they move to the back of the line.
Interview Questions
In a game where we roll a fair 6-sided die until we have seen each even number, why is the probability of seeing a 1 on our first roll, given that we end on a 2, not 1/5.

It started with an OA where you had to solve 2 leetcode style problems. There were also 3-4 basic math/stats questions about mean, covariance, correlation, etc. For the first round it was a coding round where you had to solve 1 problem + 2 problems or 1 problem + a dp problem (harder).
Interview Questions
The dp problem in the coding round was the most difficult, but I was able to solve the other ones (priority queues, sorting, etc) with ease

Interview
First interview with HR, general questions about background. Then, two technical interviews, one focused on maths/proba, the other one on coding. Questions are fairly standard/ green book level, and for programming it's around medium leetcode level.

Upon completion of these rounds, you get invited fo an onsite super day consisting mainly in a 6 hour long data exercise. You are basically handed a dataset, and you are ask to both analyse it and construct a predictive model from it. After that, you present your result to a researcher for one hour. At the end of the day, there is also a more finance focused interview with a higher ranking researcher.
Interview Questions
The data task is definitely hard, especially is the time allowed.
