Please describe the interview / hiring process.
It was a very thorough process. Did a phone screen with a hiring manager. Did two breakfast/coffee meetings with Directors prior to the on site interview. There was an online assessment prior to the onsite interview. Assessment include an intelligence test and a personality test. Did an onsite interview with the entire valuation team (analysts up to the directors). There was no set format for the interviews. The interviewers asked a variety of questions, some were behavioral and some were technical. There was also a written test consisting of answering a valuation question as well as a multiple choice exam with CFA exam type questions. They were very focused on finding people that were a good fit for their culture and were high performers academically. I would say their process is effective as I was very impressed with everyone that I met. Everyone seemed very competent, confident and professional. The onsite interview lasted almost all day and included lunch with managers/directors in other divisions.
