Valuation & Financial Opinions - Summer Intern

I applied through my school's career site as well as on their career site. About 3 days after the submission deadline, I was selected for an interview that was scheduled a week later. The interview was 2 on 1 and started with a few basic behavioral questions then a lot of technical questions and even some brain teasers at the end. One interviewer was an experienced employee and the other was a recent grad.

"What is beta?"
"Can you tell me the CAPM equation and its components"
"What does a beta of 0 mean"
"If you purchase equipment on Jan.1 how does that affect the financial statements then again on Dec.31"
"How would you explain the TVM to a 7 year old"
"If you are running a race and pass the person in 2nd place, what place are you in?"
"What is 16x19"
"Can you tell me a joke"

Definitely brush up on technical questions in accounting/finance. The interviewers seemed pretty laid but I definitely thought it was a tough interview and was not awarded a second interview.
