Interview
Applied via OCR and was contacted for a pre screen. Basic questions about company knowledge and finance along with walking the interviewer through my resume.
Interview Questions
Interviewer asked which group of the firm I was looking to interview for but the job was specifically posted with a group listed which was a bit odd. Other than that just basic "tell me about a time where you demonstrated leadership" and "tell me about a time where you resolved conflict with a coworker" behavioural type questions. Asked about the interviewers personal story behind how they got started at the firm and they elaborated quite a bit and smiled. Minimal amount of technicals, basically just had to show interest

Interview
The company posted a listing on my school's career website. I sent in my resume and was called 2-3 days later to come in for an interview. The interview consisted of 2 1-on-1 interviews. Both asked very similar questions. Nothing technical at all was asked. Both asked questions about my resume. They then asked what I knew about the company and what it does/what kind of software it provides its clients. After that they told me what I could expect from the internship. I was called the next day and offered the internship.

Interview
Got in touch with recruiter via e-mail and scheduled an interview. The interview process in person included two 1 on 1 interviews. All behavioral questions, nothing technical. Just know the basics of what Private Equity is - the company offers software and information solutions to investors. They are looking for people with a basic understanding of the industry, what they do, and people to input a lot of data into excel and you get "exposure to the world of alternative assets". If you are somewhat decent in Excel and know the basics of the industry, you should be able to get an offer.
