I got an interview through a recruiter and it was a good pace. First call was with head of the group, more get to know you. Second call is with one of the co-CEOs. They didn't get technical until the 3rd - 4th interview. Intense case study
Interview Questions
I was asked the pitch the company from the case study as if it was IC and they wanted a word doc. I don't know why, but that really threw me off.

I was first contacted by HR where I was asked about my resume and why Riverside. About two weeks later, I was asked to interview with two associates who asked more technical questions. Finally, I was asked to interview with a higher up and this was much more behavioral.

Interview
Conducted a virtual interview with 6 questions. 5 out of 6 questions were the basic behavioral interview questions (i.e. walk me through your resume, why PE?, Why Riverside, etc). My technical question was how do you estimate the value of a company?

I have not heard back yet about an offer.
Interview Questions
I assumed this was going to just be a behavioral interview, but I was given one technical question. I also only had one opportunity to prepare an answer - no do overs. This interview was not given through HireVue, so do not expect to have much time to prepare or redo the questions. There also was not a timer to track how long your answers were, so try to keep a mental clock. I only had two minutes to answer a question and I was cut off on some points. Speak as concisely as possible and know the company's mission and values.

Interview
There was a posting on the job board of my business school (I'm a full-time MBA at M7 business school). I submitted my resume through the job board, and the firm's recruiter reached out to me to set up an initial screening test. Test consisted of ~30 minutes quantitative and ~30 minutes verbal section. There were also 6 video interviews (30 seconds - 2 minutes each) with prompt questions.

I got an email that I had passed the screening test, and had interviews with 3 people (2 MDs and 1 senior associate) on the team.
Interview Questions
First interview with senior associate was fine. Interview lasted for 30 minutes, and she asked basic questions about my background, why I wanted to the job, and asked me to walk my resume, and my deal experience. Most unexpected question was "what I would change about my previous firms" and "how did I build the models for the deals I worked on." Rest of interview focused on questions that I had.

Second interview was with a Partner. The interview was very conversational - the Partner had my resume in front of him, so asked specific questions about experiences I had on my resume. A lot of the time was dedicated to questions that I had about the firm.

Interview
I had pretty simple and short video interview with around 10 questions (some behavioral & background and some more technical. Know why Riverside and understand the uniqueness of the company.
Interview Questions
Basic questions such as why Riverside? Why private equity? were easier to answer. I was also asked about what I am passionate about which I think is a tough question to answer in a timed video interview. I was also asked basic LBO and PE questions. I felt like I answered those well. The real challenge on the interview was more about the nature of a video prerecorded interview. I much prefer to speak with a person and advise anyone doing prerecorded interviews to prepare differently and practice.
