Application was open for 10 days. I applied and informed my referral that I did. A month later I received an invitation for a 45 minuted phone screening that was a mix of background questions, behavioral, and few technical. On the spot I was informed I was moving on to the superday. Superday consists of 1 hour behavioral and 1 hour for Case Study questions on a case study that was provided two days before the superday. About two weeks later I received the final decision.
Interview Questions
Nothing really too difficult. Any prepared candidate should expect questions about Mutual Funds, ETFS, Growth and Value Stocks, Current Events, etc.

Interview
I meet vanguard at the 2024 ALPFA convention. My resume was passed along to a senior recruiter, and I was emailed with a link to register for the super day. 4-hour-ish process. The first meeting was 30 minutes, just detailing the position I was applying for, and I was joined by other applicants. After that was a screening interview with a 1-on-1 recruiter, and they just asked basic "tell me about yourself" and "how do you take feedback?" questions. After that was my 1-hour behavioral interview, which was very much conversational and relied on my resume to ask the questions. "How did you deliver bad news at your inernship?" "What's your biggest weakness at your internship?" It was just based around my internship; a very chill guy talked about soccer.

After that was a quick 15-minute break. Then a 1-hour-long technical was given, with a case study in advance on very easy things like NPV and ETF vs. mutual fund. Struggled with CPV since it was never touched in class. I'm a rising sophomore, but my interview was very nice and almost like office hours, with the screen shared (DOC AND EXCEL OPEN) and explaining my thought process. Overall, I'm not sure if I did good or mid, but I'm happy with how it went.
Interview Questions
A DCF walkthrough was asked for along with NPV with a whole question on CPV. With a heavy focus on how Vanguard operates.

Interview
I first got connected to Vanguard through the North Star Program, which gave me a great introduction to the company’s values and culture. After that experience, I was fortunate to move straight into the final round for the College to Corporate Advice Internship.
The final interview consisted of two hour-long behavioral interviews with leaders from the Advice team. The conversations were focused on my experiences, how I work with others, and why I’m interested in financial planning.
Interview Questions
One of the most unexpected and emotionally complex questions I was asked during the final interview was: “How would you approach a client whose spouse has just passed away?” It challenged me to think beyond technical knowledge and consider the emotional intelligence required in financial advising

I go to a well known/target school on the east coast. There's lots of alum at VG so it was easy for me to reach out at get a first round. VG IMDP is pretty similar to BB SnT recruiting: OA -> First round behavioral/recruiter round -> superday. OA is just a hackerrank with a simple python question. First round is with a recruiter and just behavioral questions. Superday is 3 rounds with 3 different traders/analysts/PMs. Questions asked ranged from resume stuff, global macro/current news stuff, and simple bond math since I expressed interest in FICC.

Had a 30-minute phone screening with the interviewer; I answered a couple of behavioral questions and then proceeded to get basic accounting questions. Had a superday which lasted around 4 hours. Started the day with a group interview, then a 30 minute behavioral interview followed by a case interview (very basic to gauge your knowledge on how businesses work) and finished it with a conversation with former interns.

Interview
First step was the recruiter screening.
They asked me questions about my background, relevant experience, and my interest in Vanguard. The purpose was to assess my qualifications, skills, and determine if I would be a good fit for the role.

Behavioral Interview:
After successfully passing the recruiter screen, I moved on to the behavioral interview round. This stage focused on evaluating my behavioral competencies and how well I aligned with Vanguard's core values. I encountered questions that delved into my past experiences, problem-solving abilities, teamwork skills, leadership qualities, and how I handle challenges. It was a chance to showcase my skills and demonstrate how I fit within Vanguard's culture.

Live Case Interview:
The live case interview was an exciting challenge that allowed me to showcase my analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. I was presented with a real-life scenario or case study that was directly relevant to the position I applied for. During the interview, I had to analyze the situation, identify key issues, and provide recommendations or solutions. It was a great opportunity for the interviewers to assess my ability to apply my knowledge, think critically, and make sound judgments.

Panel Case:
The panel case interview was the final stage of the process and involved a panel of interviewers, including hiring managers and other stakeholders. It was similar to the live case interview but with a more in-depth analysis and discussion. The panel challenged my assumptions, asked follow-up questions, and assessed my ability to communicate effectively, collaborate with others, and defend my recommendations. It was a rigorous and interactive session where I had to showcase my expertise and problem-solving abilities under pressure.

Interview
Overall fairly straightforward experience. 2 months after applying I had a phone interview with a recruiter, mostly behavioral. A handful of technical questions at the end pertaining to the business model of Vanguard and basic accounting questions. You ABSOLUTELY need to get the technical right because it's basically their filter for candidates, don't rely on acing the behaviorals. Shouldn't be hard to study at all just brush up on what Vanguard does and accounting stuff.
Superday was about 4 1/2 hours. 1 behavioral interview with someone at the firm, then a technical interview where you take on a case study and answer questions. Followed by a group panel with all SD candidates that is mostly a Q&A. Overall solid experience.
Interview Questions
Mostly Accounting stuff, can't remember anything specific
