Summer Intern

Phone interview was easy. Walking through the resume, favorite activities on campus, and the usual. They flew me out for an the in-person group interview. About 10 people were there for the day, including 3 local students. 2 1-hour long behavior interviews to start off the day. The interviews were entirely behavioral, very repetitive, and not a pleasant experience. There's only so many times you can talk about your success within groups before it starts to get old. After that, we got long on the firm and sat around and talked. They pitched the firm for a while and really tried to play up the "team" atmosphere. This firm is a very laid-back, "un-Wall Street" type firm and they pride themselves on that. The fit was not there, and I ultimately did not receive an offer,
