General Interview Information
Interview Details
The interview was more of a superday, got there 7:30 am and had breakfast with senior managers and some prospective summer interns of the college to corporate program, you are supposed to be interacting the whole day with the senior managers and everyone else involved in the process. After the breakfast you have some presentations where they explain you some of Vanguard background and then they separate you for the interviews, 2 interviews one hour each with senior managers absolutely everything behavioral and be sure to follow STAR format, after the interviews you just eat with some senior managers and then you have a group activity. They separate you in teams where the VADP candidate will have a team of College to Corporate candidates in this part I assume you need to show your leadership skills since the C2C is a position for undergrads and the VADP a full time position. After that they give you a presentation where they explain you the benefits and then they take you to the airport. You end up heading to the airport around 4:30 pm. I was not offered the position but I thought it was a very interesting program to be part of, specially since its rotational and somehow less monotonous. Overall experience was great, all the employees are very friendly, the company is great. The pay however isn't that good considering Scottsdale is very expensive but when you see the benefits and the flexible work schedule it just gets you thinking.
Thought I would get asked at least one technical in the interview but not at all. Interview format was purely STAR behavioral, caught me off-guard on some.
