Quant Trader Developer Accelerator

My application fro a quant trader role was rejected due to lack of experience - I'm a PhD student who just finished.

Instead they pushed me towards the accelerator program.

There was a HackerRank quiz, 3 question and 48 complete. but you had 2 weeks to start the test. one question on pyramid tree (triangular numbers), one question on missing values in a time series, one question on implementing pricing logic on a house comparison problem

Next there was a talegent.com series of reasoning tests (numerical, logical, verbal) These were quite weird IQ-style question with roughly 30 s per questions. The main thing this tested was exam sharpness and prep.
I seemed to have passed the HackerRank test, but my reasoning test stopped me from progressing. Kinda bs, because you can train for these and boost your score - but I didn't prep for that kind of test.
