IB Summer Analyst - UBS - London

I applied via standard online form on the company's website. Had to sit a numerical test. After a week got email saying that inverviewer will call me in two days time.

Telephone interview started with walk me through your resume question and later I was asked basic technicals (walk me through a DCF, what two companies would you merge) with follow up questions. Then more technicals based on my previous experience (what are differences between valuation of consumer goods and power generating companies, why would cost of capital be different etc.). Finished with other competency based questions. Overall impression ok, interview was supposed to last 15 minutes, took 25.

Good experience and flow with the interviewer. Unfortunately got rejected after 4 days.
