Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I interviewed for a position with a financial advisor with approximately $450 million in AUM. Began with a phone interview consisting of basic personality questions, then I received access to an online personality test and skills test. Upon completion I had a one on one interview at the office with the CSA. It lasted about 30 minutes and again was mostly personality based. This narrowed it down to four potential candidates, all of whom met with the FA. He wanted an extremely brief explanation of who I am and why I want the job, along with one answer as to why I am better than the others. It seems like for the internship they mostly just wanted to check two things: who can they stand talking to, and who can do basic math and is passionate about financial services. The skills test online contained the difficult questions.
