Phone Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I attend a top 10 university in the states, a target for many BBs. However, UBS does not recruit on our campus. I was connected with UBS through diversity initiatives in November 2014. Received an email in January 2015 about an initial phone screening. First round phone interview in February 2015, I spoke with an HR representative. She asked the general why S&T? Why equities? Why UBS? Talked about the markets for a good amount of time. Stock pitch. Where is the DOW, S&P? Where is UBS stock price?

Very standard S&T interview. She informed me at the end that they were close to finished with hiring the SA class, I did not get my hopes up. Over a week later I followed up with another email and was informed that I would not be given a spot in the SA class.
