Phone Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I believe my experience will differ significantly from other's recruiting processes. I come from a very small liberal arts school with phenomenal alumni connections. I had 3 contacts at the bank - 2 analysts and 1 VP. They pushed hard for me which allowed me to snag an interview with a cumulative GPA below the banks stated minimum. I applied in mid January and received a phone interview in mid February. It seemed like some type of accelerate process - 1 phone interview with 2 junior bankers, 1 final round phone interview with a VP then offers went out.
