Background Check
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
A phone screen interview took place first. Basic HR style question regarding behaviour (strengths/weaknesses) and what I bring to the table (past experience and skill set).

Once approved, an in-person interview was set up with initially 4 people but ended up being 5.

Everyone asked approximately the same questions as it seemed they had an HR/Department sheet of questions to ask. Basic questions to start off: Tell me about yourself. Why this position? Some of the more difficult questions were: give me a time when you made a mistake and how did you resolve? Where do you see yourself in 5 years time? How good are your technical skills, give me an example. What did you not like about your last job? Why did you leave your last job?

After the interview was up - the last person indicated that I would be made an offer most likely and should hear from them in a few days. Rightfully, I heard from them in 2 days time with the good news and salary/benefits information. Was asked to go to the branch to fill out my information (yes, branch for the corporate office job) for background checks. I was told that if I do not hear back within 3 days that's good news.

From the date of the interview until the first day for the start of my job was 2 weeks exactly. I applied a week before. Heard almost immediately from the HR (luck and timing!).
