Friend of a friend was looking to fill a role, so I was able to skip the normal phone screen. In office coding and statistics questions with one person, with a follow up more about culture fit.
Interview Questions
Traverse graph without using recursion
Dynamic programming problems, knight on the chessboard, identifying islands
Implementing interface that would perform stat calculations over large data set without recomputation
Lot of very fundamental probability questions- I would have been better served by studying up on axiomatic definitions and working on my whiteboard algebra than by studying more esoteric algorithms. (In general I have found it is better to be bullet proof on the basics than to cover subjects that are likely not to come up.)

It was the very first interview I have ever done with investment company. They have asked me numerous questions within such short time of the phone interview. Orders of questions they have asked me may not be in exact orders.
Interview Questions
It depends on person.
For me, I was unexpected to be asked such details about the proficiency in Excel. Other than that, all other questions are expected. Yet, many people apply to numerous companies. I think it is very important to study what they do and be ready to answer all possible questions that you can think of.
Next question was you were the operations manager and are you aware of the position that you are applying to? you are applying to the entry level job. How can you use your experience to entry level Job
My answer was, I believe I will be working as a team at the Wedbush. I will not be able to take a leadership position right away. However, by managing people, I have learned how to properly harmonized with other people in team working environment. Also, I am ready to take a leadership role in the future.
Last question was, why did you start your own business and what was your goal?
This was the hardest question.
My answer was, I really only started a company because I was capable of and there was nobody to gave me a lesson. I just wanted to become a owner of something in the future. then they cut me off and ask what is your ultimate goal in the financial industry. My answer was, you might laugh but I want to take an executive role at the investment firm with in 20 years.

Interview
I applied online on their website and got a call 3 days later.
Invited to come in for a logic test and interview with the recruiter and hiring manager.
Ended up speaking with the senior vice president of my department at the end.
So roughly 3 30 min interview with the recruiter, hiring manager, and SVP of the correspondence department.
It seemed like the correspondence department's people were generally nice, as Wedbush has 4 floors and each floor operates a little bit differently depending on the role.
The interview were mostly behavioral questions.
Interview Questions
This was for an entry level position so expect to answer mostly behavioral questions and how your qualifications relate to customer service skills and data entry skills.

- How do you manage stress?
- Tell me about a time you had difficulties dealing with a customer or a coworker and how did you resolve it?
- Why Wedbush?
- Strength and weaknesses?
- Short and Long Term Goals?
-** Situational **: Tell me how you would handle a situation where a client/broker is requesting you something you don't know about. How would you respond?

Interview
I applied through my school career website and got an email a couple weeks later inviting me to interview at their office.
Interview Questions
There were not any specific or difficult interview questions. It was a pretty standard interview; he wanted me to explain my background and resume, and asked some behavioral questions. My interviewer was the person that I would work for if hired, and when he and I bonded over going to the same high school, the conversation became much more relaxed. I think that the company was mostly looking to verify that I was a solid pick, because they were looking for help immediately and the Fall quarter had already started.

Fairly straightforward. Initial phone interview is brief and with an HR recruiter. Standard overview of your resume. A standard math test is given on the interview day. Not technical, just high school level math. I think everyone gets it. In-person interview with managers is immediately after. Mine was with two of them. Fairly basic questions. Offer came within a few days.
