Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
Mazars asked me to complete an online assessment which was a lot easier than those from Goldman Sachs etc. I was interviewed over the phone where they asked strengths based questions. I was invited to an assessment centre a few days later. The AC consisted of a very easy maths and English test, a group exercise where you had to present afterwards, and an interview. Questions in the interview pertained to 'give me an example of a time you...'. The assessment centre was as far as I got.
Interview Questions
All questions were along the lines of 'give an example of a time when you had to work extra hard to finish your work'. or 'give an example of a time where you found something particularly difficult'. Questions are not anything to do with your CV, I'd expect that in the 2nd round interview, these are more to do with your values, fit with the company. There were no questions to do with technical aspects of the job, in fact I asked what the job was on the day of the assessment centre (in that I asked what are the day to days like?)
