I had originally interviewed for a position within commercial banking and was referred to the IB recruiter through my interviewers. My first contact consisted of two 30 minute phone interviews one from an associate and then from an MD. Both phone interviews were mainly focused on walking them through my resume and my interests. I was invited to a final round super day in Charlotte and did 7 one on one interviews with MD's from different groups. Surprisingly there weren't many technical questions and the conversation mainly revolved around my resume and experience as well as them outlining what they due specifically within each group.

Overall I thought it was coordinated fairly well and everyone seemed very professional. I had one interviewer that had someone else's resume and was filling my responses to his questions on their questionnaire under that individuals name. When it comes to the actual interview there were standard questions that they had to ask due to h.r. constraints which were mainly behavioral based. Each interview felt them same except for the interviewee's specific groups role within ABF.
