Financial Analyst Program

Applied online through my school's career website for an on campus interview. First round consisted of a one on one interview with a VP. The interview was fairly easy. Lots of basic questions.. Tell me about yourself... Why Wells Fargo?... Where do you see yourself in 3-5 years? The only technical interview question in the first round was the typical "walk me through the three financial statements." After about a week I received an e-mail telling me that I had made it to the next round. This was a superday where I had two group interviews (two people each), a one-on-one interview, and a writing assessment. The first group interview was more basic why do you want to work at Wells, Tell me about yourself, What do you know about Wells Fargo, etc. The second group interview was more of the same but they also asked me what I knew about capital structure and the advantages and disadvantages of debt and equity. They also wanted me to describe how I would explain debt and equity to someone who did not have a finance background. The third interview was technical and they asked me what the important things to look for when determining the creditworthiness of a borrower. They also asked how I would perform a valuation of a local pizza restaurant. The writing assessment gave me information on a potential loan request and asked me to determine whether or not Wells should lend to this particular business.
