Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I obtained the interview through networking. I reached out to an alumni, who helped to set up my initial interview. My first interviews happened in Dec and were technical interviews. I had a harder than average technical interview with an associate, who said I did well. He then unexpectedly passed me off to another associate in charge of recruiting, who I met briefly over the phone. They said to contact them in Jan for next steps. In Jan, one more phone interview was set up. The interview was a mix of technical and fit questions. I was contacted shortly afterwards with an invitation to their Superday. Credit Suisse sponsored my flight and transportation. The Superday consisted of 3, thirty-minute interviews. Each interview was 2-on-1. The interviews tested my technical knowledge, general knowledge of companies/deals/markets, and fit. I was informed by my contact at the office afterwards that I had performed well. However, in about a week, I received a phone call informing me that I would not be getting an offer.
