Investment Banking Associate

I applied on Wells Fargo's careers site and was contacted by email about a week later by a VP to schedule a phone interview later that same week. The phone interview took about 30 minutes and consisted of general "walk me through your resume" type questions. The interviewer then told me about the opportunity to join Wells' Consumer, Healthcare, and Gaming group, asked if I had any questions, and told me they would be in touch the following week to schedule an in-person interview. The following week I received an email with details for a superday at Well's Charlotte office scheduled for Friday of the following week. The superday consisted of 6 back-to-back 30 minute interviews with VPs, Directors, MDs, and group heads, and included a 2-on-1 interview. Afterwards, some of the Associates in the group took the candidates (there were 6, including myself) out for lunch. The interviewers told us that they would be making a decision soon and we would hear back from them within a week or so. After more than a week with no response, I followed up with my contact by email, but did not receive a response. A week later, I received a form email from Wells Fargo's automated system that the position had been filled.
