Investment Banking Summer Analyst

First round interview consisted of 1 to 1 interview. During this time most question were very common questions for IB. (How does depreciation affect the balance sheet, why investment banking, etc.) A couple weeks later I was invited to the superday in Charlotte. During the superday each candidate was place in groups. The group I was in had 7 one on one interviews with analysts, associates, VPs. Some candidates in other groups had only 6 interviews. Interviewers were generally friendly and upbeat during the day with the exception of a couple of interviews. Technical questions were not crazy difficult and most interviewers seemed to prefer asking fit questions. Showing personality and being able to tell your story was way more important than technical skills in my opinion. The difficulty was trying to stay engaged after going through so many interviews.
