Is this a useless question to ask to my future boss?
Hi all. Recently accepted a lateral offer for an Associate position in a liquid credit platform (CLO, HY funds, credit opps, L/S etc). The team is divided in sectors, and I would have a strong preference to keep one of the two sectors that I am currently covering (and I think I can add a ton of value, too). I won't be starting for ~2.5 months. Is it a stupid question to ask what the plan is in respect to my sector coverage? is it a question best asked closer to the start date?
