Haircuts for men

1) How often do you guys get a haircut while working in finance? I typically get one every 6 weeks or so, but I'm thinking about getting one every 3-ish weeks as my hair grows fairly quickly

2) Where is your favorite barber shop in NYC and why? How much does it cost?

I let 6 months go before my most recent cut. The problem I have with longer hair is it takes longer to dry and get ready in the morning. 10 minutes a day is 50 minutes a week, so over 3 hours a month fixing my hair.

Also, to the above commentator, 2 on sides and 3 on top is very basic. I’ve switched to an all scissor cut with straight razor to clean up neck and sideburns. It takes over an hour, but it’s worth it. I have really thick hair that has to be “lightened” for the weight, or else I can’t style it at all.

A good haircut makes a huge difference in how people perceive you imo. Mine is around $50-$60 depending on tip, and I’m not in NYC. Comes with wash after the cut and product if wanted

Funniest

Im always scared to try out new barbers. Last summer during my SA this guy fucked me up man. Basically cut off my sideburns and made the top too short. He then insisted on putting product in my hair after the cut, so I had to walk back to my apartment with greasy ass shiny hair, plus it was hot as fuck so I started sweating a lot. I thought about saying I had a family emergency so I could skip the week
