Goldman Buyside vs. Other Buyside

Wonder if anyone has insights into Goldman's buyside operations (GSIP, SSG, PIA) vs. other more traditional mega funds or top hedge funds. Obivously, sitting under the Goldman umbrella is going to have a lot of conflicts of interest and regulation restrictions but other than that, what's the overall experience like (people you work with, culture, deals / things you do, learning experience)?
