How do large credit HFs with CLO arms (Anchorage, Brigade, GoldenTree) work? Is it that they invest in CLOs, or form them? I understand distressed and credit investing, which is more company-level from what I understand. But what is the strategy in CLO investing? If anyone could let me know, that would be greatly appreciated.
