MBB Consulting exit/path to HF

Hello, was wondering if anyone has experience or has heard of people going from MBB firms to hedge funds? I am an incoming 1st year at an MBB firm and have realized that this may be a very good career path for my personal interests and strengths. I have seen some past threads explaining that there are some consultant friendly HF's. Any information (such as specific HF names or anecdotes) on this would be appreciated as I would like to find and reach out to people to hear more about their experience. Thank you!

Activist funds take a few consultants (usually after PE)

I've seen ex MBB at MMs like Citadel but they usually did a stint in IB or equity research first (pick up modelling skills)

This makes. So for me the most optimal path would likely be to gain modeling experience through PE and then go to a HF?

Do you have any names of consultant friendly HF's I can look for on LinkedIn (for ex-MBB people) so I can learn more?
