Merger arb / event driven
I've been a fundamentals investor for the past few years and have an opportunity to join a more event driven / merger arb or capital markets type single manager. I would be very grateful if anyone can please provide some thoughts on joining a fund with a strategy like this whether that be firsthand or secondhand
