OakTree Internship Program 2024
I was wondering if anyone has any insight into the Oaktree credit internship program. I spoke to an employee on the flagship fund about three months ago and he told me that all of the spots for 2024 were already filled and they do not hire interns who are not diverse. That doesn't seem completely correct since this was before all of the other big shops had opened internships (Point 72, Citadel, ect.) Obviously I was not going to question him but maybe he was confused and was thinking summer of 2023. Also, is it even possible to hire only diverse candidates? That feels illegal.
I was also told the same thing in the fall for their 2023 internships. I also did ask and they said they exclusively run it through SEO, etc.
