Pod Analyst Comp Upon Bleh Situations
Curious whether anyone has color around comp in these (sadly not infrequent) situations in the big4:
- Good year, PM leaves middle of year, analysts get snapped up by other pods.
- Bad year, PM leaves middle of year, analysts get snapped up by other pods.
- PM leaves, no snap up, analysts gets another job at different shop (is there leverage to negotiate a bonus?).
- PM blows up but analyst has decent track, gets snapped up by other pod.
