I'm currently an mba IB associate and starting to realize that I miss my weekends. I'd love to join a HF but not sure how realistic it is. And I look at the seniors in my group and see that they're schedule doesn't seem to get better. If I'm going to end up leaving for corp dev or Strat anyway, am I better off switching to consulting? Consultants get all the better exits and have time to see friends and family.
