Thanks for this, very helpful. I’m currently in IB / going to PE next year, so my title is a bit misleading.
 

Do you know how exactly their recruiting process works? E.g. do the HHs (HSP, Dynamics, etc.) blast people in their network / analysts they formerly placed in PE, when an opening at the HFs comes up? Or do they reach out to specific people? How do they pick you? Do you need to be networking and expressing interest to the HHs in advance?
