Any experience with Global Mobility at Citi?

Current A1 at Citi, and would like to move from EU country to New York, or London.

Any experience moving office? Might only be a secondment of 1-2 years, when I’m A3. Any experience, difficulties with visa, and will Citi sponsor H1B?

Was at Citi a long time ago, and did a secondment in APAC. Logistics were super easy. I sent HR a scan of my passport, filled out a couple of forms. HR had an immigration person deal with my visa, a real estate person find me accommodation options and HR dealt with travel arrangements. Sent me a visa sticker to slap onto my passport, I literally just showed up.

This is likely group/region dependent. I went to one of the so called "top" groups in the region. Had others in diff groups on rotation and they weren't handheld the same way.
