Best Groups @ Citi

I've been looking around the forum and it seems that the latest opinions on the different IBD groups I can find at Citi are all pre 2017. I wanted to know what groups would be best at Citi in terms of PE Exit Opps only (Particularly MF exit opps). I know their energy and power group is strong, as is industrials. From previous posts, it seems that MnA is also highly regarded. What are all of your thoughts on the different groups at Citi and how well they place into MF PE. (Particular focus on MnA, Energy and Power, Industrials, Media and Comms, Tech).

M&A is the best for exists but is very against recruiting so it must be done quietly. Power is very good if you want power related exists if not then it's not the best group to be in for exists. Industrial is good for exists and has good hours/culture - open to recruiting. It is a big group with defined verticals so culture can change depending on verticals. Comms is good for exists but horrendous hours, worst at city but open to recruiting. Tech is very small analyst class is usually 4 people and exits are poor - not open to recruiting. If I were to rank the groups you mentioned specifically for PE exists with some consideration to hours/culture: M&A, Industrials, Comms, Power, Tech.

Citi's real estate group is top tier and send to real estate MF every year Consumer & Retail used to be split but just merged very recently - something to look into
