Best teams in BNP Paribas UK?
As the title says - what are BNP Paribas' best teams within Global Banking (UK)? I guess best teams would mean most dealflow, maybe what the bank is known for, etc.

Lev fin and dcm the teams with most deal flow. Ecm is decent too, depends where your interests lie.
What about sector coverage / the likes? I was thinking about renewables as a potential area of interest - heard that BNP is big in this regard!
Sector teams are all based in Paris / Frankfurt besides the Energy, renewables and infrastructure team. Their flow is okay, nothing special I would say, culture is very french in that team

Yea that’s the only sector team in London. They only do debt financing for energy companies. Everyone in that team is french, they all speak french to each other, don’t interact much with others.. If you don’t speak french I wouldn’t choose it
Oh dear haha - im thinking about exiting to corporate after IB (potentially) - does a Lev Fin / DCM placement help out there?
In lev fin you’ll build solid modelling skills which would be helpful. Dcm is very niche, lifestyle is good if you want a long term career in banking but exit opps aren’t great.
